CNC (French National Center of Cinema)
The CNC (French National Center of Cinema), created by the act of 25 October 1946, is a public administrative organization with a legal entity status and financial autonomy. It operates under the authority of the Ministry of Culture and Gaëtan Bruel is its President. The CNC’s principal responsibilities are: regulation, support for the economy of the film, television, video, multimedia and technical industries, the promotion of films and television productions and their broadcasting to all audiences, the preservation and enhancement of cinema heritage.
Film Fund Luxembourg
Film Fund Luxembourg is Luxembourg’s public audiovisual funding body. Its main objective is to promote and foster an environment in which the country’s film industry can thrive, by implementing the Luxembourg government’s audiovisual policy and managing various schemes through which it provides financial support to audiovisual works and professionals It funds Luxembourg-majority and minority co-productions through a single, selective mechanism based on reimbursable advances on receipts and supports scriptwriting, development and production of short and feature-length fiction documentary, serial, hybrid and XR projects. It also represents Luxembourg in international initiatives like Eurimages and Creative Europe MEDIA.
